RUNNERS and competitive types are being urged to prepare up for the epic 62-mile Jubilee Challenge run at the end of June.
The arduous ultra-runners’ race will see competitor teams from the Armed Forces, businesses, sports clubs and schools take on the challenge, which runs from June 23-24.
It has been organised by Boston and District Athletics Club (BADAC) and will follow a quiet route along the Water Rail Way from Boston to Lincoln and back. Participants can choose which charity they are running in aid of.
Entry forms for the event will be available tomorrow morning (Thursday) at The Standard offices, at 5-6, Church Lane, Boston, or online via www.bostonanddis trictac.com.
BADAC have also organised a 5k family event called The Butterfly Run, which will take place on July 15 in Boston, and raise funds for the The Butterfly Hospice.
Entry forms for this race will be available in the next few weeks.
