Firecrews free trapped occupant of crashed car

Firefighters were needed to extract an occupant from a crashed car in Boston yesterday afternoon.

A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue spokesman ‏said the crews from Boston were called at about 4.15pm yesterday (Tuesday) to a single vehicle collision on Punchbowl Lane.

Fire crews removed seats from the Kia Sedona to release the casualty, who was said by police to have suffered minor injuries.

The driver as a local man who was treated at Pilgrim Hospital.
