Emergency gas works in Boston causing delays for motorists

To allow the works to take place safely, temporary three-way lights have been put in place.

This has led to delays in the area and motorists are advised to allow additional time for their journeys and use alternative routes where possible.

Cadent are working to get the repairs completed and the temporary lights removed as soon as possible.

An update issued a short time ago noted that additional leaks have now been identified in this area, which will require further works. “Cadent will remove the temporary traffic lights when possible, but further works, under three-way traffic lights, will be taking place this evening and into tomorrow morning,” a spokesman for Lincolnshire County Council said, adding that ‘disruption is expected’.
