Logistics firm unveils new greener fleet

A LOGISTICS firm has unveiled a new look fleet of green fuel vehicles.

Howard Tenens, which has a refuelling station in Boston, has revealed its new biogas van fleet based at its Andover depot complete with new slogan ‘A greener fuel for a cleaner fleet’.

The firm has invested in alternative vehicles and fuels for its transport fleet, rolling out dual fuel (gas/diesel) vehicles across its HGV fleet during phase 1 of this strategy.

Phase 2 is already in place in Andover with the roll-out of biogas across the HGV and van fleets.

Catherine Crouch, group CRS director said: “As biogas is effectively carbon neutral we expect 99.8 per cent carbon savings compared to the diesel equivalent. We are delighted with the new eye-catching livery, designed specifically for the biogas van fleet.”
