An appeal to fund a memorial garden near Boston for all of Lincolnshire’s road accident victims is gathering pace.
The next event in support of the appeal is a fashion show by Lincs Fashions at Boston United’s York Street ground on Wednesday, April 5, starting at 7pm. Entry fee will be £4 and all are welcome.
There is to be a summer raffle, with prizes including a weekend in a cabin at Westwood Lakes, Boston, an overnight stay at The George, Stamford, a half-hour flight over Boston with Boston Aero Club, a family pass for a flight simulator and an Audi car for the weekend.
Anne said: “With the £5,000 kindly donated by the Tesco bags scheme, we are now well on our way to achieving our aim.”
Anne, of Boston, lost her daughter in a horrendous crash in which four people died and five children were left without their mothers. Her other daughter was seriously injured.
The plan is to develop a restful memorial space in Boston’s Westgate Woods.
