Firefighters were called to Station Road in Sleaford shortly before 8pm last night (Monday) when a bonfire got out of control.

According to the fire service, the controlled burning of some waste cardboard had got out of control and spread, damaging the outside wall of a building.

The fire had been put out by the property owner prior to the arrival of the Sleaford crew, who gave advice to the owner.
