UPDATE: Casualty cut free from collision on A16

Two vehicles have been involved in a collision on the A16 Sibsey Road this morning (Thursday).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman confirmed that fire, ambulance and police were attending the incident on the junction to Willows Lane, which was reported to them at 9.56am.

They said there were no life threatening or serious injuries.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue confirmed one casualty had been cut free using hydraulic cutting gear. A second casualty released themselves, they added.

Thursday 10.37am - Emergency services are reportedly attending an accident on Sibsey Road, in Boston, this morning (Thursday).

Passers by have reported a car in the road near to Midway Garage with police, fire and rescue and ambulance services on scene.



Brylaine Travel have also Tweeted: “A16 is currently closed between Sibsey and the Pilgrim Hospital due to a RTI.”

Emergency services have been contacted.
