Police say this morning (Saturday) there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Boston’s Tunnard Street car park on Thursday night.
He has been named locally as Brian Dunne, but police have described him only as “a 59-year-old local man” and say his body was removed on behalf of the coroner for a post mortem examination to be held to determine the cause of his death.
Police say they were notified by East Midlands Ambulance Service at 7.50pm on Thursday.
Friday: A man who is believed to have died in a Boston car park last night has been named locally as Brian Dunne.
Residents of Tunnard Street alerted emergency services yesterday when a man in a wheelchair was seen “slumped over” in the council-run car park at the end of their road.
Emergency services were seen in the car park shortly before 7.50pm.
Police media spokesmen were not available to speak to the Standard late this afternoon.
