It is understood the police presence on Park Road, may be linked to a murder investigation launched into the death of a woman in Skegness today (Sunday).
Earlier today, police confirmed they had launched an investigation into the death of a female they believed to be Lenuta Ioana Haidemac who was reported missing on Friday.
On Friday evening, officers discovered the body of a 28-year-old female on Drummond Road, in Skegness.
Ms Haidemac, who lives in Lincoln was also reported to have links to Boston, where she has relatives.
Residents today have been linking the police presence on Park Road, with the discovery which happened within a few short hours of each other.
Police have not confirmed the link however.
A 29-year-old man from Skegness in now in custody on suspicion of murder and is being interviewed by detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit and Lincolnshire Police.

SUNDAY, - Police officers are today (Sunday) on scene at a property on Park Road, in Boston - however no further details are available.
Residents in Boston reported several vehicles and CSI on the road yesterday (Saturday) on social media, and say officers are still guarding the property today.
When contacted by The Standard, the on call inspector said there were ‘no further details to give at present’ and that ‘the website would be updated when there was’.
