A woman suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision last night (Monday) which saw long delays in traffic, police have confirmed.
The colliion, on the B1192 at Langrick, at the turnoff to Anton’s Gowt, involved a Toyota Yaris, a Ford Diesta and an Iveco van.
The woman who suffered the injuries was described as a 24-year-old from Butterwick.
Fire crews also had to attend the scene as one of the cars involved was on fire.
Some residents were caused long traffic delays by the incident which was reported to emergency services at 4.55pm with the road reopening at 7.30pm
Facebook reader Dawn Hinks said she was stuck in the queue just south of the incident for two-and-a-half hours while Martin Dawson said he waited in the queue until 5.50pm before taking a route home via Chapel Hill which saw him arrive at 6.15pm.
Wednesday, 5.33pm - A car is on fire following a road traffic collision involving three vehicles this afternoon (Wednesday).
A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed that the incident, in Langrick at the junction to Anton’s Gowt, had been called in to them at 4.55pm.
Crews from Boston are in attendance.
Early reports suggested all three cars were on fire, however the spokesman confirmed that only one was.
