CCTV footage of two men trying to steal a tractor from Savannah Equestrian Centre has attracted more than 30,960 views and has been shared more than 650 times on social media.
The horse riding, livery yard and training yard manager Mandy Mathers posted the video following the incident which took place on Friday, July 10.
Further CCTV also shows the pair running towards another vehicle and sitting in it for a while before they ran off on foot, in an Easterly direction.
Mrs Mathers said the attempted theft of the 12-year-old vehicle, which costs £6,500 new, wasn’t noticed until the following morning when her father walked around the business.
She said the tractor would normally have been put away, but due to her suffering pneumonia at the time, on this occasion it had been left out.
Mrs Mather’s is offering a reward for anyone who provides information leading to a successful prosecution.
A police spokesman confirmed the force was looking into the case.
They said: “We were informed on the 10th of an attempted theft of a tractor at 3.55am. Two males tried to push it across a field then had to abandon it.
“CCTV evidence shows them getting into a vehicle and leaving the scene.”
They confirmed a man arrested following the incident was later released due to insufficient evidence to charge.
Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 158 of July 10.
