Dramatic CCTV footage shows the moment a commuter at a station in Australia slipped and ended up with one of his legs wedged between the train and the platform.

The incident occurred at Stirling Station in Perth at the tail end of rush hour and despite their best efforts staff were unable to free the trapped man. So they bandied together onlookers and collectively they managed to push the entire train up and away from the man, freeing his leg. Shortly after services resumed as normal and luckily the man did not sustain any serious injuries.
