Wainfleet Library volunteers plea
Wainfleet Magdalen Museum and Library is in need of volunteers to help drive the project forward.
Following extensive renovation by Lincolnshire County Council, the Magdalen building will be handed over to the Magdalen Museum Group next month.

Hide AdCoun Chris Pain has been driving the project forward. He said: “We need people who are willing to help run the library and museum, maintain the building, work in the coffee shop, cut the grass, maintain the grounds, hoover the floors, and clean the windows. There will be a variety of activities once we have re-opened the building.”
A last-ditch attempt to save the library and historic Grade 1 listed building from closure was made last year, when the option for it to become volunteer-run was discussed. Anyone interested should call Coun Pain on 07876 505055.
