Warning after bogus council officials visit Boston homes
A warning has been issued after homes in Boston have been visited by bogus council officials.
Boston Borough Council says it has been has been made aware of visits being made to properties by someone claiming to be from the council in relation to planning matters.
They urge anyone visited by officials to always ask to see their photo identification.
A council spokesperson said: "If in any doubt please call the council to confirm the visitor on 01205 314200."
