WEATHER: Snow could be on its way today
Today - Thursday, February 9 - will become colder with scattered sleet and snow showers the Met Office say.
They have already issued a yellow weather warning for parts of the East Midlands and today will remain cold and rather cloudy with further scattered snow showers through the day.
A few brighter spells are also likely. It will feel especially cold thanks to a brisk easterly wind. Maximum Temperature 2 °C.
