Well-known Boston solicitor John Storer has died.
Mr Storer was a partner at Criminal Defence Associates (CDA), in Trinity Street, Boston.
He was admitted as a solicitor in February 1987.
Through his role, Mr Storer regularly appeared in The Standard’s reports from the town’s courthouse.
In 2013 and 2014, he also appeared in the paper as an opponent of Government plans to cut legal aid, raising concern over the impact the proposals could have on law firms in the town and defendants.
His family and colleagues at CDA declined to comment at this time.
