A law firm with a branch in Boston has reached its 10th year of supporting a national will-writing campaign, which to date has raised more than £1.5 million for good causes.
Sills and Betteridge Solicitors is one of 100 businesses across the UK to have reached the milestone with Will Aid.
This sees law firms setting aside time in November to write basic wills for their communities and instead of charging a fee, asking for a donation.
That money is then split between nine of the UK’s best-loved charities.
Linda Garner, from Sills and Betteridge, said: “We are very proud of our team for giving up their time and using their skills for one month every single year for the last decade.
“Will Aid is a superb initiative which targets many people in our community without a will as well as helping raise money for some of the most vulnerable in our society.
“This year we hope to add even more to the pot.”
