WHITE CHRISTMAS: Bookies take bets on snow falling across county on Christmas Day
Bookmakers have started taking bets on a White Christmas in Nottinghamshire this year.
Coral are offering odds of 11/2 for snow to fall on Christmas Day in the county, meaning a £10 stake would return £65.
Elsewhere, Ladbrokes are offering punters odds of 4/1 for a White Christmas in Doncaster, with Manchester, Birmingham and London 3/1 with Paddy Power.
The Met Office say the last official White Christmas was in 2010, when snow was widespread across Northern Ireland, Scotland, parts of Wales, the Midlands, north-east and far south-west England.
