Wilkinson staff on the ball for charity

STAFF at Boston’s Wilkinson store have raised £140 for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, after taking part in a sponsored football match.

Sporting team members at the Boston store, in Pescod Square played a sponsored game against those from the Spalding store to raise the cash.

The game, which took place at Boston Town Football Club, saw teams cheered on by colleagues, family, friends and representatives from the charity.

The Spalding team members were declared men of the match after winning 4-2.

Local referee Rod Crozier donated the match ball for the occasion.
