Worksop: Jogger rape case suspect due to appear in court
A teenager is due to appear Nottingham Crown Court this morning (Monday, 1st September) charged with raping a raping a 51-year-old female jogger in Worksop.
The youth, who has not been named, was arrested following the incident on Eddison Park Avenue in the Gateford area of town in April this year.
His appearance at Nottingham this morning is a plea hearing and he is likely to be remanded back into custody while a full trial date is set.
