IT IS a pity that the Tory sheep decided to place a charge on disabled parking, but there is absolutely no need for any Blue Badge holder to pay.
Boston being part of England and Wales is covered by the following, as stated on the Direct Gov website:
In England and Wales, Blue Badge holders may generally park:
l on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours, unless there is a ban on loading or unloading;
l at ‘on-street’ parking meters and pay-and-display machines for free and for as long as they need to;
l In disabled parking bays.
Boston will become more congested, particularly when delivery vehicles double park instead of going to yellow lines, but please do not blame the disabled – it is the Tory sheep who are to blame.
