Country park is ‘a joy to behold’

HAVING walked with my wife along the bank from Anton’s Gowt last weekend, and then around Witham Way Country Park, I must offer my congratulations on the splendid condition of the park.

It was a lovely day and with the leaves just beginning to turn, the verges and grasslands so green and in such a well cared for state, it was a joy to behold.

I also noticed the fencing to the picnic area has recently been repaired and the clearing of thickets is well underway.

From the amount of people using the park it is clear it has developed into a first class community facility.

I hope the excellent work continues.
