Having had to attend the A&E on Wednesday, February 6, both at 5am and also again at 10.15pm, on that occasion being admitted, I wish to thank the doctors, nurses, admin and all other staff at the Pilgrim Hospital that looked after me on both occasions.
It is my first experience of being admitted to the Pilgrim Hospital and I was so impressed with the way I was dealt with, communicated, treated, looked after, and the general manner in which I was given patient care.
I spent two days on the Clinical Decisions Unit where the staff were excellent, very professional, excellent communicators, very friendly, and couldn’t do enough for you even when working under pressure.
The food, cleanliness, the general operation/organisation and admin was first class.
It is important that people not only complain but also praise where it is due, and I would congratulate the hospital on its high standards of quality, patient care and services.
Would you please pass on my thanks to everyone, and being an ex-NHS Trust Non-Executive Director for Glenfield Hospital in Leicestershire I was truly proud to be admitted and experience a first class patient care service.
Continued success, keep up the good work and my very best wishes.
