Letter: Town centre parking is a must

RE THE proposals for Boston Market Place.

No parking means no shopping. It is very nice to clean and tidy the Market Place but short-term parking is a must.

Make all parking limited to an hour or an hour-and-a-half and stop all long-term parking.

I use Lloyds and Barclays banks on business and I believe it is a must to be able to park near to them.

The multi-storey car park in Pescod is wonderful but it is a long way from the banks.

At the moment I often find it full in the Market Place and can wait for between 10 and 15 minutes before I can park.

Does this prove the need for short term parking in the Market Place?

Must everyone carry goods to out of town car parking?
