LETTER: We support hospital campaign

Your newspaper article was brought to the attention of East Keal Parish Council at our recent meeting.

After some discussion it was agreed that I should write to you to stress our agreement with your campaign, that services should not be eroded at Pilgrim Hospital.

East Keal has a high proportion of elderly residents, some without transport, and moving services to Lincoln would make their attending at A&E even more difficult.

The parish of East Keal has approximately 150 properties with a population in the region of 400.

I hope this adds some degree of weight to your appeal.

Libby Martin

Clerk to East Keal Parish Council
