Not thought through

I HAVE just had my first experience of having to wash my blue bin out after having garden rubbish in it.

Two weeks of grass cuttings had dissolved into liquid and smelt like silage.

I am a 70-year-old widow so do everything myself, but found this almost physically impossible and in the process of trying to tip it up to empty it fell over with it leaving me feeling very shaky, but thankfully unhurt.

I really don’t think all of this has been thought through properly. I am all in favour of recycling, but please give a thought to people like myself who try to do what is right but find something’s impossible to do.
