ON AUGUST 7 I had a very bad fall at Boston Bus Station.
Three young people came to my aid – Debbie, Sara and a young man whose name I did not catch.
Debbie rang for an ambulance four times and with the other two generally tried to keep my spirits up.
They stayed with me for one-and-a-half hours until the ambulance arrived.
Thank you does not seem a big enough phrase for their kindness but it’s the only one I can find to express my gratitude.
Bones are mending, bruising fading, broken nose not so painful and dislocated finger back where it ought to be.
Thank you all so very much.
