Bassetlaw: Weather is the only winner on a weekend washout
The weather was the big winner in the Bassetlaw League as no games made it to a result and several never started at all as rain swept across the region on Saturday.
One game that did see action was Firbeck Colliery’s trip to Edwinstowe in Division One.

Elsewhere in Division One, Everton’s game with Clumber Park fell victim to the weather from the word go and was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
That was also the story for Anston, Worksop and Kiveton Park in the Premier Division as all three saw their games washed out.
Ordsall Bridon also suffered a washout in Division Two, while Anston 2nd reached just 9-0 against Thoresby Colliery before the game was abandoned.

Clumber Park 2nd had reason to be frustrated in Division Four as they reached 151-3 against Everton 2nd with Jim Delaney (55), Chris Brammall (44no) and Adam Bellamy (36no) all going well before the rain set in.
In the same division, Worksop 2nd were more grateful for the rain as they had slumped to 117-8 against East Drayton before the weather ended things early.
