He's back! Boxer Callum Johnson announces date for ring return

Callum Johnson will return to the ring on April 24.

After two years of inactivity the Bostonian - who has won the British and Commonwealth light heavyweight titles - will meet Emil Markic on the undercard of card Denzel Bentley’s defence of his British title against Felix Cash.

Johnson, 34, has won 18 pro fights, his only defeat coming against Russian Artur Beterbiev in a world title fight.

Thirty-four-year-old Bosnian-born Markic - who has Croatian nationality - has won 32 bouts and lost two.

The fight will be screened live on BT Sport.
