But the final outcome is far from clear with issues at the top of all leagues currently too close to call.
Both the ladies’ and men’s first teams are setting the pattern for the rest of the club with the season now well into its final month and only three games remaining.

The men’s first team had a narrow 3-2 win at Boston Spa, but suffered a blip when they lost 4-1 at home to Harrogate who were well organised and tried to catch Brigg on the break.
Zac Meadows got the Brigg consolation. This weekend they travel to Leeds.
Brigg ladies maintained their challenge by beating City of York at home thanks to goals from Corrine Maddy (2) and Helena Palin.
This followed a 3-3 draw at the University of Leeds.

Brigg ladies seconds lost 2-1 at Sheffield University Bankers.
The men’s third team remain top of Division Four after a 2-1 win against Sheffield University Bankers, but only lead by a single point.
Brigg’s Fourth XI need just one more point to be sure of promotion from Division Six after a 3-1 victory at Wakefield with goals from James Watkins, Callum Dyer and Mark Skinner.
