TKMA Fight Academy kickboxer James Brown has won the EFK English title.

Brown, from Boston, had the tough job of facing defending champion David Gould.

The TKMA fighter came out strongly in the first round and dropped the Essex man with a hand combination.

From then on Brown began looking to work his opponent’s body, which began taking its toll on Gould.

Gould really upped his game in the final round, but Brown was his equal, claiming all five rounds to win the title.

Three further TKMA members fought on the bill in Lincoln.

Liam Clayton enjoyed a good first round in his bout, but his oppoenent proved too strong and the fight was stopped in the second, despite the TKMA representative wanting to continue.

Craig Young was making his debut and was switched on from the first bell, carrying out the instructions he had been given, winning with a first-round stoppage.

In third was Lee Brock, who was also making his debut.

Lee hit his opponent with everything he could but he refused to go down. However, the TKMA fighter did enough for a unanimous decision after winning all three rounds.
