BOSTON SATURDAY LEAGUE: Taylors Ford Division Two

In a very entertaining see-saw clash at Fishtoft Reserves, Leverton built up 2-0 half-time lead through strikes from Nathan Rippin and recent transfer signing Liam Shinn.

After a stern talking to at the break, Fishtoft fought back to level the score at 2-2 through Wade Bradley and Nicky Frost.

However, Nathan Hubbert hit a right-footed screamer which deservedly sealed all three points for the visitors.

Leverton keeper Jak Kirkman produced a confident display throughout and earned his man of the match accolade to ensure Fishtoft were left empty handed.

Heckington Millers came out on top by the odd goal in five in a closely-fought home encounter against Swineshead Reserves.

Sam Elliott, Dom Kew and Lawrie Giannassi struck the crucial goals for the Millers, which evidently sealed all three points.

Swineshead replied through Mark Ledger and Reece West.

Kirton Town Reserves and Spalding Harriers served up an exciting end of year encounter at Graves Park, with both sides sharing the points in a 3-3 draw.

Most of the goals came during a free-scoring first half as Kirton firstly trailed 2-0, only to bounce back with a three-goal blitz to lead 3-2 at the break.

The Spalding side rescued a point in the second half with a well-deserved equaliser to make the final score 3-3.

Cameron Cope was Spalding’s hero, scoring all of his side’s three goals.
