Boston Town suffered a 5-0 defeat to promotion-chasing Huntingdon Town at Tattershall Road.

The Poachers saw their five-match winning streak at home ended in emphatic style.

Stuart Eason put the Cromwellians in front on 11 minutes before Declan Rogers’ penalty and Ben Seymour-Shove’s strike earned the visitors a 3-0 interval lead.

Seymour-Shove completed his hat-trick after the break with goals in the 62nd and 73rd minutes.

Huntingdon sit in fifth, but with games in hand, while Town remain in 15th.

Nathan Collins’ side now travel to Huntingdon for the reverse UCL Premier fixture on Saturday (KO 3pm).

Before that comes the UCL Knockout Cup clash at Spalding United on Tuesday (KO 7.45pm).
