Boston Town were edged out by Lutterworth in a seven-goal thriller.

Gary Edgley’s side kicked off the United Counties League Premier Division season with a narrow 4-3 home defeat.

Summer signing Harry Grigas twice put the Poachers in front in the first half, only for the Swifts to draw level on both occasions before taking a 3-2 lead into the interval.

Fraser Bayliss levelled for the hosts from close range in the second half.

However, Lutterworth has the final say, grabbing the winner in the 83rd minute.
