BOSTON Town will return to action at Long Buckby tomorrow - after a three-week lay-off.

The Poachers have been out of action following clashes at Daventry United (waterlogged pitch) and home to Wellingborough (frozen pitch) both being postponed.

However, Town will be without the services of leading scorer Alex Beck, who has switched to United Counties Premier League Premier Division rivals Deeping Rangers.

The former Boston United youth team product netted 18 goals for the Poachers this term, after netting 17 last season.

However, Town manager Phil Jones could hand a debut to forward Nick Brown, who signed after leaving Holbeach United.

Titl-challengers Buckby currently sit third in the UCL Premier, nine points behind leaders King’s Lynn, but with four games in hand.

Town, however, were enjoying something of a renaissance under Jones before the weather cut into their run.

The Poachers boss has won his two matches since taking charge of the team.
