Dennis Greene will manage his 100th competitive match as Boston United boss on Saturday.
And Greene will be looking for three points to round off his day as the Pilgrims travel to face Gloucester City in the Vanarama North (KO 3pm).
Amazingly, it was also against the Tigers that Greene took charge of his first United match, guiding them to a 4-0 victory at the Jakemans Stadium on March 5, 2013.
Spencer Weir-Daley (two), Conor Marshall and Ben Fairclough found the net on that occasion.
At present, Greene’s record stands at 45 victories, 24 draws and 30 defeats.
And he wants to mark reaching treble figures by picking up another three points.
“My first game was Gloucester, my 100th game is Gloucester - let’s hope it works out as the same result,” he told The Standard.
“We go there with belief and we can’t slip up next week.
“We won (at Hednesford) but if we slip up at Gloucester it means absolutely nothing.
“We’ve got a good fixture on paper next week. If we win we could make some points up on teams in the top five.”
