Leading goalscorer Dayle Southwell is among four Boston United players who pledged their future to the Pilgrims last night.
The 19-goal striker, Zak Mills and Grant Roberts all signed contracts which will keep them at the Jakemans Stadium until the end of next season at training last night.
Meanwhile, on-loan forward Mark Jones signed a pre-contract agreement with the club and will make his move official when his Spalding United deal comes to an end this summer.
Southwell, who turned down an initial contract offer from United, was given an ultimatum by manager Dennis Greene.
But last night the former Grimsby Town man signed on the dotted line.
Greene told bufc.co.uk: “We are delighted that these three lads have committed their futures to the club.
“It is a signal of our intent to hold down our best players regardless of whether we find ourselves in the Conference or Conference North next season.
“In Dayle’s case in particular, we lost the services of last season’s top scorer (Ricky Miller) for nothing so it was imperative not to let that happen again.”
The quartet join Kyle Dixon, Carl Piergianni, Scott Garner, Sam Vince and Kaine Feix as players who are under contract next season.
