Indy Aujla hopes he can hold down a regular spot in the heart of Boston United’s midfield.
With new signings Jamie McGhee and Ryan Semple, along with Notts County loanee Kyle Dixon, becoming regulars on the team sheet lately, Aujla has found starts hard to come by in recent weeks.
But with right back Liam Marrs sidelined after undergoing surgery, Conor Marshall has been slotting into the defence, leaving space in midfield which Aujla hopes he can make his own.
He said: “The manager has done a fantastic job this season and he’s made some great signings.
“Unfortunately, it means I haven’t been playing as much as I want to. But the other lads have been doing a great job so I can’t really complain.
“But I think everyone in the squad will get their chance this season, and if someone is needed to do a job in midfield then I hope it can be me.”
