PILGRIMS boss Jason Lee believes his side have already overcome their worst spell of the season.
Boston United got off to a rocky start this season, suffering four straight defeats.
After kicking off the campaign with victories over Droyslden and Histon, a spell of defeats followed with Hinckley, Workington, Bishop’s Stortford and Oxford City all claiming three points.
However, things have improved since then.
On Saturday, United lost 2-1 to Bradford Park Avenue.
But with this coming on the back of three straight victories, Lee believes his side have turned a corner.
He said: “I’m just hoping that’s our worst spell and worst patch of the season.
“The boys have turned it around and showed great character.
“The ability is there and the effort’s there.
“People can grow up very quickly.”
