BOSTON United striker Leon Constantine believes the club are still promotion contenders.
The forward, who joined up with the Pilgrims for the first time on Boxing Day, is a fan of what he’s seen at York Street so far.
“I just want to try to get into the play-off places,” 33-year-old Constantine told The Standard.
“I’m beyond setting (goal) targets for myself. I just want to enjoy my football, and do well for the team.
“If that involves me setting them up or chipping in with a few goals then I’m happy to do that.”
Constantine was with York City last season, and watched the Pilgrims knock the Blue Square Premier side out of the FA Trophy.
He added: “I’m here for the long term, hopefully I can help us get into the play-off spots.
“Once you’re there, who knows what can happen? Maybe the Conference?
“I watched Boston against York last season and they gave a good account of themselves and got the result. It’s here, it can be done, we just need to get results and climb the league.”
