Boston United drawn against Hyde in FA Trophy

BOSTON United will face Blue Square Bet North leaders Hyde United in round four of the FA Trophy.

Despite hopes of a tie against county rivals Lincoln City or Grimsby Town, the Pilgrims will instead face more3 familiar foes.

Hyde earned a 2-0 BSBN win at the Jakemans Stadium on November 12.

In a closely contested fixture, the Cheshire-based side just had the edge and earned the points with goals from Shelton Payne and Danny Broadbent.

However, Pilgrims boss Lee Canoville is defiant and wants his side to get some revenge.

He said: “Whoever we get, we want to progress.

“We feel we’ve got a team that when we come up against higher opposition, we can match them.”

The clash will be played at York Street on Saturday week (December 10 - KO 3pm)
