Kaine Felix may find himself increasingly targeted by opposition defenders - but the teenage winger takes it all as a compliment.
In fact, the 19-year-old says he doesn’t mind the close attention he has been receiving in recent weeks, because he believes it is only helping his team’s cause.
“It’s a massive compliment,” said Felix, when asked about the way other clubs are looking to stifle him.
“But if I’ve got two players marking me then there’s space elsewhere on the pitch for someone else to get a run in on goal.”
Felix is now hoping to play his part as the Pilgrims push for a top-five finish and possibly promotion.
He added: “It’d be a dream come true if I can get into the Conference Premier with a great team and great coach.
“I’m pleased the gaffer’s shown faith in me. Now I’m in the team I’ll fight for my shirt every game.”
