Boston United set for Moors test

Dennis Greene is keeping his goalkeeping options close to his chest as Boston United prepare to face Solihull Moors this evening.

Henrich Ravas, who wore the number one shirt during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Stockport County, is unavailable for selection after linking up with the Slovakian under 19s squad.

Manager Greene says he has options, but is not prepared to disclose his plans prior to naming his squad.

“I’m not going to tell any other managers what I’m doing on Tuesday, so I can’t really answer that,” Greene responded when questioned about his team selection.

One option is to field Jason Alexander, the former Chesterfield stopper who was named on the bench for the Pilgrims on Saturday.

Fellow keeper Sam Vince is currently on loan at Lincoln United.

Boston look set to be without Zak Mills again, the defender still not fully recovered from the hamstring tweak which ruled him out of action at Edgeley Park.

Solihull got their season off to a flier, winning 3-0 at title favoutites AFC Fylde on Saturday.

Kick off will be at 7.45pm.
