Boston United will host Dereham Town in FA Cup action - following the Magpies’ dramatic penalty shoot-out victory.

The Pilgrims will now face Dereham on Saturday, September 27 (KO 3pm).

For the second time in a week, the Magpies and St Neots played out a 1-1 draw last night.

And with nothing separating the two sides, the tie went to spot kicks, with the hosts winning 4-2 to progress.

Former Pilgrims mifielder Michael Clunan is in the Dereham squad and he tucked away the first penalty last night.

The result sees Dereham progress, but United miss out on a clash against the Saints, the former employers of United manager Dennis Greene, plus Rene Steer and Kaine Felix.

The winners of the FA Cup second qualifying round will pocket £4,500 in prize money.
