Boston United are keen to keep hold of Liam Agnew.
The midfielder’s loan spell ends after Saturday’s National League North contest at Spennymoor Town.
Manager Craig Elliott says he will be attempting to convince Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver to allow the Pilgrims to keep hold of the former Sunderland player, currently enjoying his third spell at the Jakemans Stadium.
“I’ll look at that this week,” said Elliott.
“Liam’s done well and I’d like to keep him if I could.
“I think they are on a good run themselves and I like to think they haven’t missed him too much.
“If we extend his loan they’d get a 24-hour recall, so it’d probably suit both parties.”
