BOSTON United boss Lee Canoville has demanded his Boston United side record back-to-back wins against two Blue Square Bet North strugglers.

Tomorrow (Saturday) United host basement side Blyth Spartans, before Tuesday’s home clash with 19th-placed Bishop’s Stortford.

And the Boston boss expects nothing less than six points from the two contests.

He said: “I don’t see why we can’t go on a run now and turn things around.

“We’ve got two games at home now against sides near the bottom of the table.

“We’re fully expected to win those games.

“If we can get six points – which we’re going to have to – then I’m sure we’ll move nicely up the table.”

United suffered a 1-0 defeat at Blyth back in September.

But in the same month, Marc Newsham grabbed a 94th-minute winner as the Pilgrims earned a 1-0 success at Bishop’s Stortford.

Ben Milnes is unavailable for United after suffering an ankle injury, although captain Gareth Jelleyman will be back in contention.

Kick off tomorrow is 3pm, with the Stortford game beginning at 7.45pm.
