BOSTON United’s Rory Coleman has become an internet sensation.
During the FA Trophy defeat to Gloucester, the defender - on loan from Scunthorpe United - got away with one of the most audacious handballs you will ever see.
With the ball seemingly heading for the back of the net, Coleman stuck out an arm to deny the goal before instantly holding his head in his hands realising what he’d done.
Fortunately for the youngster, the only person in the stadium not to see the event was the referee Matthew McLaughlin. He may have got away with not conceding a penalty and being sent off, but his actions were caught on camera.
And this week his actions have seen Coleman receive thousands of views on YouTube, plus he also made an appearance in a well-known men’s magazine.
