Kyle Dixon is convinced that hard work is the best way to force hismelf back into Boston United’s starting XI.
The midfielder admits he has had a frustrating time recently, with 10 of his last 11 appearances coming from the bench.
In contrast, the former Notts County man started 44 of his previous 51 run outs with the Pilgrims - and became a regular name on the teamsheet.
“There’s not much you can do,” Dixon admitted.
“It’s frustrating but you can only play when the gaffer picks you.
“I’ve been putting in the performances and hopefully that can change.”
Dixon is now hoping that he can work his way back into the starting XI, adding: “I don’t want to be on the bench, but it’s hard.
“You’ve got to get through it, but I want to be on the pitch and hopefully my time will come.”
