Kaine Felix wants to return to Boston United’s starting XI - and exact some revenge upon Solihull Moors.
The Pilgrims travel to face their National League North rivals in FA Trophy action on Saturday (KO 3pm).
Felix has made just one start in 20 matches since a wild challenge from Moors’ Theo Streete left him with a niggling ankle injury back in early August.
But now the winger says he is fighting fit.
“I think I’m done with the 20 minutes, I just want to start now,” he said, adding that his focus is now aiding the Pilgrims to glory.
“I’ve been wanting to start since I came back to be fair, but obviously there are a lot of boys fighting for the shirts and who deserve a place.
“I’ve been out for roughly four months, it’s set me back a bit this season.
“Last season I had a good back end to the season.
“I’m just hoping I can do that again.”
After watching North Ferriby lift the FA Trophy last season, Felix believes it has inspired other teams in the division to make it their year.
He added: “If you have the right squad you can go all the way.
“Playing at Wembley is a dream for everyone who plays in England.
“We want it to be our turn this year.”
