Kaine Felix will have to get used to coming up against hard-hitting challenges, says Boston United manager Dennis Greene.
The Pilgrims boss says his young winger’s pace terrifies defenders so much that he is being targeted by opposition players every time he takes to the turf.
But Greene is backing the teenager to ride the tackles and the storm.
“He’s on the end of challenges every week,” Greene said.
“Once they see his pace they just want to take him out.
“His wing play is magnificent and his pace will always worry people.”
Felix joined the club in the summer and was swiftly handed a two-year contract after impressing in pre-season.
He has found top form in recent weeks and has currently made 34 appearances, scoring two goals.
